Our solutions are only as good as the data we use to build them. We use ethnographic research methodology to meet you where you are - where you work and serve with others - to understand your organization's everyday routines, beliefs and traditions. This in-depth approach to learning allows us to build trust quickly with your team, leaves no stone unturned and empowers us to build scalable, sustainable solutions for your organization.
Ethnographic research is a methodology used to learn about organizations and people by spending time with them, watching what they do and asking thoughtful questions.
Together, we define what we need to understand and the key issue we think we need to solve. This becomes the foundation of our engagement.
Our first visit is normally on site with your team to meet folks where they are in a familiar environment. This helps us build trust quickly.
This includes a series of interviews with key stakeholders (or more!) to identify themes and pressure points. The qualitative assessment period is where we gather the majority of our data.
After an initial assessment, a period of observation is helpful to affirm and clarify initial research findings. Researchers often use the term "saturation" as an indicator for when they feel they have learned as much as possible to provide meaningful insights.
*At times, and depending on the type of project, a quantitive assessment may be required to confirm findings with numerical data.
Each engagement ends with a comprehensive written and verbal presentation; your organization then owns this work product in perpetuity.
After our research has concluded, it's time for the "real" work to begin. We use our insights to collectively advance the project's goals and objectives.
